2002 European Indoor bronze medallist Karen Shinkins qualified from her 400m heat as sixth fastest loser of nine this morning in Paris, clocking a season's best of 52.06.
Shinkins, 26, finished fifth in heat one behind winner Ana Guevara of Mexico, the fastest woman in the World this year.The Atlanta-based Irish woman knocked 0.46 seconds off her season's best set in Thessanoliki, Greece earlier this month. The semifinal takes place tomorrow evening.
