Hurdles - Crusaders Peter Coghlan ran 13.82 (+0.9) to placed 3rd in the 110m hurdle event. Derval O'Rourke (UCD) placed 2nd in the 100m hurdle race running 13.51 (+2.0).

In the men's 400m hurdle event, Trevor McGlynn (Strabane Track Club) placed 4th in 53.49 with Fiona Norwood (Kilkenny City Harriers) second 1.01.51.

100m - Jon Carleton (Ballymena & Antrim) ran 10.67 (+2.1) to place 5th with Mark Howard (Fingallians AC) placing 7th in 10.86. Ciara Sheehy (Dublin City Harriers) was 7th in the women's 100m in a windy 11.85 (+2.1).

200m - Paul Brizzell (Ballymena & Antrim) was 2nd in 20.72 (+0.3). Paul McKee (Beechmount AC) won the B Race in 20.81 (+0.2) while Gary Ryan (Nenagh Olympic) was 3rd in 20.99.

400m - Eugene Farrell (Dublin City Harriers AC) placed 3rd in 48.08 in the B Race.

800m - Niamh Beirne (Lucan Harriers AC) ran 2.05.87 for 5th place while Kelly McNeice (Lisburn AC) was 8th in 2.08.45. In the men's race, Kenyan Bernard Kisilu easily won in 1.48.90 with the tope Irish finishers being a pair of Ballymena & Antrim runners, Ciaran Kelly (1.56.98) and Gareth Hill (1.57.56).

Les Jones Memorial 1,500m - England's Andrew Graffin ran a brilliant race running 3.37.33 beating Kenyan Edwin Maranga (3.40.22) with the race for top Irish spot going to Richard Girvan (3.52.93) edging Annandale Strider teammate Dermot Donnelly (3.54.81).

Javelin - Ben Houghton placed 8th with a throw of 65.51m.

Long Jump - Stephen Fleming (Crusaders AC) was 2nd with a leap of 7.12m.

High Jump - Sharon Foley Gallen (Lifford AC) was 6th in a height of 1.70m. Aidan O'Donnell (Carrick-On-Shannon AC) placed 6th in 1.95m

Pole Vault - Zoe Brown won won in 3.90m.

Shot Putt - Reigning Irish Championion, Iain McMullan (Trafford AC) was 3rd in 17.15m. Geraldine Stewart (Tirchonaill AC) placed 3rd with a throw of 11.82m.
