Derval O'Rourke broke her U-23 100m hurdle record by running 13.57 (+1.2) for seventh in final. O'Rourke eclipsed her 13.61 (+0.6) set last August in Santiago, Chile at the World Junior Championships. Personal bests were set by O'Rourke (100m hurdles), Mark Howard (200m) and Aoife Byrne (800m). Ireland earned two Bronze Medals in the 200m events from Mark Howard and Ciara Sheehy.
