Cathal Lombard Wins Reebok Cross - Senneleys Park
Galvin & O'Reilly Win 5k Roadrace
Sinéad Delahunty-Evans 4th in New Englands

Dermot Donnelly ran 29.01 (10k) to place 8th and Dermot Galvin placed 19th in 29.40 in the Senior Men's race at the Reebok Margate International held in Margate, England on Sunday, 17th November. Pauline Curley was 9th in the Senior Women's race running 18.42 on the 5-kilometre course. Linda Byrne (DSD) who placed second at last year's Inter Club Championships placed 8th in the Junior Women's race in 12.29. Tracey Williams placed 37th in 13.03, Ruth Mills was 50th 13.28 and Ashling Baker ran 13.30 for 52nd place.

Dermot Galvin who now works for the Bank of Ireland in Clare, was in town visiting his 'ol Providence College mates and won a road race that more than covered his airfare for the trek. Galvin ran 15.18 to win the Don Davis Memorial 5K Road Race held in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on 3rd November. Providence College grad Stephanie O'Reilly was the first woman in 17.15.

Cathal Lombard (Leevale AC) won the Senior Men's race in 33.31 at the Reebok Cross Challenge held at Senneleys Park, Birmingham, England on 2nd November. Cathal's brother Fiachra placed second in the first of seven races in the Reebok Cross Challenge held in Liverpool on 19th October.

A trio of Irish women placed in the top 11 at the USATF New England Cross Country Championships held at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday, 11th November. Sinéad Delahunty-Evans placed 4th covering the 6-kilometre course in 20.55.5. Sinéad is running remarkably well after giving birth to son Séan four months ago and in training for only 10 weeks. Orla O'Mahoney was 9th in 21.52.7 and Stephanie O'Reilly placed 11th in a time of 22.:00.6.

Paul Reilly placed 5th in the men's race in 30.59.6.
