Keneally covered the 9.75 kilometre course in 29.16. Killian Lonergan placed 27th in 29.28, Cian McLoughlin ran 30.42 for 54th place, Gary O'Hanlon was 60th in 31.00, Nigel Brunton placed 74th in 31.36 and Paolo Doglio was 83rd in 31.50. Zersenay Tadesse won the event in 28.34. Adidas (Spain) won the team title with 23 points with Clonliffe placing 8th with 160 points. Noleen Porter (Finn Valley AC) led the Irish women's contingent placing 36th in 17.51. Catriona McGranaghan ran 18.06 on the 6k course for 42nd place, Clodagh McCool placed 44th in 18.25 and Kay Byrne placed 48th with a time of 18.50. Portugal's Fernanda Ribeiro won the women's race in 16.05. Maratona Clube de Portugal (Portugal) won the team trophy with 14 points with Finn Valley AC placing 12th with 122 points. |
